Find the Right Frames for Your Face Shape

Finding the perfect pair of eyeglasses can be overwhelming, especially with all the different styles and shapes out there. However, choosing frames that complement your face shape can make all the difference in how you look and feel while wearing them. In this blog post, we’ll share some tips on finding the right frames for your face shape so you can feel confident in your choice.

Determine Your Face Shape

The first step in finding the right frames is to determine your face shape. There are six main face shapes: oval, square, round, triangle, heart-shaped, and diamond. To determine your face shape, pull your hair back and look at yourself in the mirror. Pay attention to the width of your forehead, cheekbones, and jawline. Once you know your face shape, you can start looking for frames that enhance your best features.

1. Oval faces

Oval faces are considered the most versatile because they have balanced proportions and can pull off almost any frame style. However, overly large or small frames may throw off the balance of your facial features.

2. Square faces

Square faces have strong jawlines and wide foreheads. To soften angular features, look for round or oval-shaped frames to help balance out your features. Avoid angular or boxy frames as they will make your features appear harsher.

3. Round faces

Round faces have soft curves and no sharp angles. To balance out a round face, look for rectangular or square-shaped frames that add definition to your features. Steer clear of round or oval-shaped frames as they can emphasize the roundness of your face.

4. Triangle faces

Triangle faces have narrow foreheads and wide jawlines. For this face shape, look for frames that are wider at the top than the bottom like aviator or cat eye glasses. Avoid frames that are heavier at the bottom as they can draw attention to your jawline.

5. Heart-shaped faces

If you have a heart-shaped face, your forehead is wider, and your jawline and chin are narrower. To balance these proportions, you should look for glasses that are wider on the bottom part of your face. Cat eye or aviator glasses are great options.

6. Diamond faces

Diamond-shaped faces are narrow at the jawline and forehead but wider at the cheekbones. People with this face shape should wear glasses that highlight their sharp features, such as cat eye or oval frames.
